The Mix – the most wonderful, professional, brilliant band EVER!Published on 24th July, 2008

The Mix performed at Syon House on 11 July for the wedding of Katie and Roger, who emailed as follows:

Just wanted to say quickly, before we hop off on honeymoon …. thank you both SO MUCH for making our wedding the best day of our lives. I know you had some challenges – what with the yucky weather, delay in procedings and overly efficient Syon staff – but you were absolutely brilliant. I can’t believe how smoothly everything ran, it all went like clockwork! All my ‘control-freak’ musical requests were spot on, I couldn’t have imagined better. Everyone is saying how amazing the whole thing was and that’s largely thanks to you. You even managed to get all the fountain lights done, in spite of the rain. 

Ten minutes before the end of the party Roger and I went outside to look at our venue from the fountain – and it was one of the best moments of the wedding for me. We couldn’t believe we’d hosted such a great event, and I can’t describe how I felt seeing our friends dancing in the lit up conservatory. The Mix – well what can I say – the most wonderful, professional, brilliant band EVER! And they even played our first dance – a million times better than Fatboy Slim could! All our guests commented on how perfect they were – and the fact that everyone was dancing their socks off, says it all.

I wish I could do it all over again tomorrow – thanks for a spectacular day!
