Wonderful Souled Out x 2Published on 8th October, 2008

Souled Out performed at the wedding of Ryan and Amee in Leicester in September and we received the following letter from them when they returned from honeymoon –

“Dear John and the rest of Souled Out,

Apologies for the delay in writing this letter of appreciation, we have just returned from our honeymoon.  It is hard to know where to start with thanking Souled Out, you really did “put the icing on our wedding celebrations”!

As you saw on the night, our crowd loves dancing to great music.  At one point during the party though, even I was amazed though as I walked around the outskirts of the venue and saw around 50 guests seated at their table, whilst the remaining 500 were all on the dancefloor!  Both young and old danced till they thought they could dance no more… then danced a bit more!  It was not just Amee and I who loved the band, our families and friends have not stopped singing your praises.  Below are some of the compliments that I am delighted to pass on to you:

“Wow, where did you find this band, they are amazing”
“I danced till my knees gave up, then sat on my chair and danced some more (80 year old)”
“The band had so much energy, John is a mad man, the girls are beautiful, could listen to them all night”
“Loved the dinner music, this band really know how to mix it up”
“The costume changes were fantastic, capped off the fantastic music”

You are a top guy and you are complimented by a set of talented, good looking (especially the lovely ladies!), energetic and fun loving musicians.  From the first time we met you, you were friendly but yet still remained professional in your approach, which resulted in Souled Out providing music that made our party start and end with a bang.  A massive thanks for perfecting our first dance song, it was just what we wanted and also for the excellent dinner music.  You were so accommodating to all of our requests. 

Keep up the good work and most of all treating people in the special and down to earth manner in which you do.  We both want to come and see you play again someday… but we will have to find another excuse, seeing as we can’t use the “I’m getting married” one!”

We are more grateful to Ryan and Amee for their kind comments – and also for the following message, we received from Lisa and Steve Richards after their party in early October:

“What a fantastic night. Thank you. So many of our guests commented on the ‘brilliant band’. Steve and I had a ball. We will certainly keep you in mind when planning any future celebrations.”
