Another Star performancePublished on 17th December, 2008
The CBS Group was pleased to arrange the entertainment for Tandberg TV’s party in Southampton on 13 December. Guests were piped into the reception by Roger Huth in full Scottish regalia and were introduced to HM the Queen in the guise of Jeanette Charles, who was ably assisted by The Royal Footmen. A surreal cabaret in the dentist’s chair, was performed by El loco before the guests crammed the dancefloor and enjoyed superb music from the Star party band. Tandberg received a number of emails from employees and guests after the event and have kindly allowed us to reproduce some of them here, as follows:
The party was excellent, the live band was great
It was better than last year. The room was well ‘dressed’, the food was fine, there were plenty of drinks on the table. Having a live band made a big difference – there were lots of people dancing all night!
thank you very much for organising yet another hugely successful christmas bash, we really enjoyed it! I thought the food was excellent, and really enjoyed the band
I always enjoy having a dance at the party and Saturday was the first time I can remember that the dance floor was packed all evening (I spent a lot of time dancing on the carpet due to lack of space) Thankyou for your hard work this year on organising the party, it was a fantastic night.
Food was delicious. Decorations were pretty. The Queen – such an uncanny resemblance!!
Polar bear looked …hmm…unreal. Best of all, the live BAND! They were simply fantastic. Their music selection was spot-on – there was not a single moment when the dance floor was not filled with people dancing away and having fun. Some of us were even hoping that the clock wouldn’t strike two that morning – it was so good we didn’t want the night to end!
The band itself – bloody excellent! – kept everyone dancing all night!
