Bands and entertainers provided by The CBS Group had a busy time of it in Sepetember and many of our clients kindly wrote in to tell us how happy they were with the performances – here are just a few of the comments we received:

The ideal duo performed for the Heene Lodge Ladies’ Festival at Avisford Park hotel on 5 September and Louise Bunce, who arranged the event, kindly wrote as follows: The evening was absolutely superb, The Ideal Duo were fantastic. Rachael has got an amazing singing voice and she interacted with the crowd.  The dance floor was always full and we had compliments that it was the best ladies night they have been to. Would you please pass on our personal thanks to Rachael and Bob again for a fantastic evening.

The Mix went up to Nottingham to entertain guests at a 40th birthday celebration on 12 September,  Robert Doncaster, the host, wrote the following email: `The Mix` were absolutely fantastic and couldn`t have been more approachable or helpful . They sang every request ( even the late ones ) and made my wifes 40th a night to remember . All our friends have asked for details on the band and we are still recieving cards saying that it was the best party for years . Please pass on our sincere gratitude to the band and to yourselves ( Russ in particular ) for your professional and prompt help.

China Grove performed for a members’ event at Wentworth Golf Club in September and Eve Sorensen, one of the event manager from Wentworth wrote in to say how pleased she was with the band’s technical crew who ‘arrived very early and set up very professionaly’ (it’s always nice to give those guys a pat on the back too!), she also told us that ‘the members I have spoken to have all commented on how brilliant the band was all night’

China Grove again, this time for Andrew and Sarah Yiannaki’s wedding party at the end of August – on returning from honeymoon, they kindly emailed as follows:   Well, what can I say, China Grove were amazing!  All of our songs we wanted to be played during the ceremony were played at exactly the right moments.  A lot of our guests commented on how great they were and how they kept the party atmosphere going all night.  Im happy that I was able to speak to Graham at the end of the night to offer my personal thanks to him and everyone in China Grove.

Another late entry from August, this time for Star’s performance for the wedding of Claire and Marcell Dos Santos – Angela Lutley, who arranged everything, wrote to us as follows: Claire and Marcell were so pleased with Star they are fantastic. Everyone have commented on how good they were they really did make the wedding. I always say even you have the best food wine ect it really is the music that the guest’s remember and they will be remembered by ours. The best wedding band I have ever seen, the floor was nor empty once all night. They were also very kind in letting the grooms family from Brasil play the instruments and do a couple of songs, this really made a nice touch to the evening. Please pass on our message and thank you to them all, are were a very professional and a wonderful band.
