The Mazeppa Cossacks

Over the many years the MAZEPPA UKRAINIAN COSSACKS have proved themselves to be one of the top cabaret acts in the world. Whilst traditional in content – using lively Cossack songs, music and dancing handed down though generations – their performances are colourful, exciting and stylish, providing a unique and totally unforgettable highlight to any show or party.

MAZEPPA have delighted not only theatre and cabaret audiences but are in great demand for television appearances. Their superb dance skills have featured in top British programs including You Bet, Pebble Mill, Talking Telephone Numbers and the ever-popular Generation Game. After their appearance on The Brian Conley Show, Brian was so impressed that he invited Mazeppa to join him in his sell out summer season at the North Pier Blackpool. The have recently appeared on the We’ve Got Your Number – National Lottery Show for the BBC.

The group are well known and respected internationally having appeared worldwide in prestigious circus and theatre engagements from Spain and Switzerland to Denmark and Dubai. In both 1991 and 1993 the Cossacks undertook major tours of Australia and New Zealand where they received and fantastic reception. They also had the great privilege to be invited to the royal command of H R H Prince Rainier to appear at the famous Monte Carlo Festival

MAZEPPA’S professional approach has also made them firm favorites on the corporate circuit and for private function work. Amongst their hundreds of satisfied clients are top companies including Volkswagen, Mars, British Aerospace, Canon UK, Sharp Electronics, Rowntree Macintosh, Rank Xerox and British Airways. The COSSACKS are totally flexible and can performing line ups of varying size to suit each particular clients requirements and budget – from a tight all-male, acrobatic dance group to a full mixed company of male and female dancers. in addition they can also provide authentic Russian musicians and singers to entertain during reception drinks and dinner.
