No Strings further information - The CBS Group

No Strings performed for a 60th birthday party for Tim Woodley in August 2007 and Pat Woodley wrote as follows:

"Just a note to say thank you for suggesting No Strings to play at Tim’s 60th birthday party, they were absolutely brilliant. Everyone soon got into the party mood. The feedback from my guests has been brilliant and everyone has said how much they enjoyed the band, they made the night and I would recommend them to anyone. Once again, thank you."

No Strings are:

CARON PASCOE

Caron began her musical career in West End and National No.1 Tour productions in shows such as THE ROY ORBISON STORY, playing Patsy Cline and Dusty Springfield; KISS THE SKY, playing Janis Joplin; GOOD ROCKING TONIGHT; THE BILLY FURY STORY and IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR, the high-octane soul show, where she first met and worked with Adrian.

Caron also works as a successful voiceover artist in advertising, narration and animation. She was the ‘voice’ of the Homebase tv advert for over two years and is a regular singer and voice on Disney Playhouse, as well as impersonating Dame Judi Dench as ‘M’ for the official 007 computer games.

ADRIAN DIXON

Adrian hails from a diverse background in music, encompassing jazz and boogie, funk, folk and soul. His own 7-piece soul band, SUGARBEET TRAFFIC, was fronted by Ian Dury’s Blockheads’ singer, Ingrid Allman. He also played keyboards and toured with the legendary ska band BAD MANNERS.

Theatre productions such as MOONLIGHT SERENADE allowed him to indulge his passion for jazz and boogie, and IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR for the soul sound of the 60’s – a dazzling sell-out show that also led to him first working with Caron.

He wrote the original score for “I Frida” – the story of Frida Kahlo – which was performed at The Observatory at Holborn in London.

He is currently one of the resident pianists at Jools Holland’s The Jamhouse, in Birmingham.
