TurnerTaylor

Turner Taylor provide music with heart & soul! Superbly performed by this charismatic vocal/instrumental duo with voices that blend perfectly,  whatever your event, they will capture the perfect mood and make it extra special.

TurnerTaylor’s female vocalist Linsey was an award winning child actress and went on to study acting and singing at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, during which time she appeared in several TV roles including “Dr Who”. During one of these TV productions Linsey first met Rod and after leaving the Guildhall they started their singing partnership. An impressive career in music followed with songwriting, recording and live appearances throughout the world in theatres, concerts, hotels, jazz clubs, private corporate & social functions, TV & Radio.

Rod played piano from early childhood adding guitar & cello later. Early R & B band days offered invaluable experiences  supporting major recording artistes and a passion for vocals developed. Song-writing was a natural progression in the 1970s leading to management by famed Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, recording with Polydor and extensive BBC “Sound of the Seventies” appearances for John Peel and Bob Harris as well as playing major venues & concert tours. A chance meeting with Linsey lead to an incredibly eventful and rewarding 25 year musical partnership …. and a future with even more promise.
