 Bowfiddle Strings is lead by Laura Rose and offers a number of different reception ensembles, including the main. one, which is the quartet

String quartet is a the traditional string ensemble, which adds a touch of class to any occasion. The quartet can feature either Two violins, viola & cello or for a different sound – flute, violin, viola & cello. The girls have various outfits from Funky to formal and have a huge repertiore with songs from all genres including, classical to Jazz, from love siongs & film themes

Laura herself performs as a solo cellist which is an excellent option where classical music is required but space is at a premium. With a more mellow sound than a solo violin, this is becoming an increasingly popular option for weddings and other reception events.

There are two duo options, which Laura provides – firstly the piano and cello duo, which is especially effective if a grand or upright piano can be provided, however the electronic keyboard is always an option. There is also a cello duo, which performs a range of classical and light jazz standards, with optional vocals
