Sciarra String Quartet - The CBS Group

The Sciarra String Quartet was formed when violinist Guy Della-Verde hand picked a selection of the finest musicians to join him in performing at various events, from private parties and weddings to corporate occasions.

Among these musicians was Trevor Foster, now leader of the Sciarra String Quartet, whose career in music started when he joined the Royal Marines School of Music in Deal, Kent studying cello and euphonium.

During service with the Royal Marines, he traveled extensively across the world to countries such as Saudi Arabia and The Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Playing in small orchestras and bands for service functions and at major ceremonial events and state occasions.

He also spent six years as principal cellist in the orchestra on board HM Royal Yacht Britannia, providing entertainment for the Royal Family and many other heads of state, on ceremonial events and private occasions.

The Sciarra String Quartet plays a wide range of classical and easy listening music for events of all kinds and can often be found providing music for receptions, weddings and other parties at Goodwood House and other prestigious venues across the south of England.
